Oh Xanga.  I don't know why I'm here or why I'm posting this.  No one cares about any of this, but oh well.  I have nothing better to do.

My summer has been pretty lame...How about yours?

Show attendance lately has been whack.  It's really discouraging.

I'm not ready for school to start.  I'm not ready to be a senior.  It's all happening so quickly.

Uhmmm...I dunno what else to say, so here are some song lyrics:

I'm not the boy I want to be, and I can't stay at this party. It's getting harder and harder to breathe. So knock my teeth out when I'm drunk and drag me to your neighbors' tub and please just leave me there face up. Cause I've always wanted to wash out with the rain, and it's sad to see that things all stay the same. If it were up to me I'd be the first thing that I'd change, but it's impossible to be washed down the drain. And when you're with me I feel the same.  I love you, but Im never going to change. And when I'm gone, will you all forget my face? When I'm gone, I might just lose my place in this town.

"Cook County," by redbear.

Some days her shape in the doorway
will speak to me, a bird’s wing on the window.  Sometimes I’ll hear her when she’s sleeping, her fever dream , a language on her face.   I want your flowers like babies want God’s love or maybe as sure as tomorrow will come.  Some days, like rain on the doorstep, she’ll cover me with grace in all she offers.  Sometimes I'd like just to ask her what honest words she can’t afford to say, like, "I want your flowers like babies want God’s love  or maybe as sure as tomorrow will come."

"Fever Dream," by Iron & Wine

I remember the way you felt.  Your bathing suit was still wet.  When it got cold you put my sweatshirt on and I never got it back.  The sky looked like a watercolor wash, a hot-pink-orange sunset.  And maybe I should have told you how I felt, but I never thought you would believe it.  I figure it's too late now and it's sad to think about.  I remember the way you kissed it was warm like fresh thunder fuzz.  We laid our sleeping bags side by side in whatever town that was.  The sky was soft and pale pastel right before the sun came up.  And I could call out your name, but the sound would never reach you, or I could call you on the phone and have nothing to say.  I remember the way you laughed, but I try not to think about that.  I remember the night you called and said you were tired of being sad, well so was I.  Most nights just look like smeared charcoal all in shades of grey and black. And I could call out your name, but the sound would never reach you, or I could call you on the phone and have nothing to say.

"Nothing to Say," by Paul Baribeau

Ok, I'm really bored now.  This will probably be my last Xanga post ever.  I have a lot to say, just not here. I'll leave you all with this final lyric.

If you ever need a thing, just call on me and I'll be there.
